  • Roslyn Urban Forest / Rocky's Trail

    Easy

    Trailhead off Pennsylvania Ave near the public library; loops to Cle Elum Ridge views.

  • Coal Mines Trail

    Easy

    Flat rail-to-trail connecting Cle Elum, Roslyn and South Cle Elum.

  • Cooper River Trail to Pete Lake

    Easy–Moderate

    Gentle elevation, family-friendly, follows the Cooper River.

  • Cooper Lake Trail

    Easy

    Flat, old-growth forest, good for beginners.

  • Peoh Point

    Moderate

    180° views of Cle Elum Valley and the Stuart Range from a 2,000-ft cliff.

  • Hex Mountain

    Moderate–Difficult

    6.9 mi out-and-back near Cle Elum Lake; wildflowers, false summits.

  • Thorp Mountain Lookout

    Moderate

    Historic fire lookout with panoramic Cascade views.

  • Navaho Pass

    Difficult

    Follows Stafford Creek past waterfalls to a steep ridge finish.

  • Rachel Lake & Rampart Lakes

    Difficult

    Most popular/difficult trail in the area (4.6★ AllTrails); alpine lake basin.

    9.5 mi, waterfall, best July–Oct.
